Artificial
intelligence (A.I) is similar to solar power, in that it has been "just
around the corner" for decades. Well, solar has arrived, and so has
A.I. In the last few decades, technology has been forging ahead at a
furious
pace and we've seen many genies let out of their bottles. Artificial
intelligence is the latest one. It has possibilities for great good as
well as great harm.
Passing a bunch of laws
won't do much good. What would
make a difference is for A.I. to be used for lots of good things--things
that will help make people less inclined to do harm. And, the more we
understand A.I., the more we can reduce its being used for harm.

Somehow,
Google's Gemini A.I. has been trained to make most stories heartwarming
ones that emphasize being kind. So . . . I'm putting these stories
online so that they may do a little to bolster the forces of good. And,
I want people to realize the power of the genie that has been let out
of its bottle.
You'll be amazed at how good the
stories are--both "well-written" good and "filled-with-goodness" good.
